Sunday

Not too much new today. Dr. Singel is planning to keep M.E. in the unit for the next several days. Not because she is "critical", but to keep up the level of care that she has been getting. She will go to the neuro floor when the bed in the ICU is needed.

M.E. may have gotten a little under hydrated so they gave her a fluid bolus today. Dave called a short time ago and told me that as he was sitting by her bedside the sun was coming in the room at an angle on her face and her skin looked "iridescent, almost angelic".

Dave's sister in law Stephanie (from Rhode Island), is here now. If there is not a posting every day, that simply means that things have not changed much. We all know that this waiting period is difficult. Mostly, I just pray that it is not difficult for our M.E. We can trust that our God is right there with her in her state of consciousness, answering her questions and calming her spirit, until she fully awakens.
