I spent the afternoon with Mom today. Dad was with her this morning, so I didn't have an update until about Noon.
We are still pretty much the same. We did take the monitor out of her head today. So we are no longer monitoring her pressures. Before they took out, however, her pressure looked great.
She has been off the propofol for over 24 hours now, and seems to be doing very well. She does have a slight fever again, so we are doing some checking to make sure she doesn't have an infection.
The breathing machine is still assisting with her breathing. She is doing some breaths on her own above the machine, which is a great sign. If she keeps this up, they may trial her on her own again and see how she does.
We're still working on responses (toes, open eyes, etc), especially to a command. We know she's trying, but it has to be difficult.
Keep faith. She'll pull through, just on her own schedule.
