Sunday
Sunday Morning brought a whole new light.
10am- Dr Singel arrives "lets see what happens!" We brought her out of sedation just enough so that she did NOT wake fully, but so she would respond to physical stimuli. After 20 minutes of the sedation medication being "off" the doctor was ready.
He looked into eyes and other basic tests for severe brain damage. She passed.
He pinched her, rather hard, near her armpit and watched for the reaction of her arms and legs. We wanted to see deliberate movement toward the source of pain with both arms. Although we received a sluggish response, we had one. Her legs remained extended and flexed, and this did not seem to concern the Dr.
After that much stimuli. We let her rest for the rest of day.
She has had very little complications. Overall she is relatively stable.
