Sorry for the gap in coverage but we've all been very busy this week. New Prez, same Gov............hmmmm.
I was booted out of my office in Yakima late this afternoon. "Get going so you can beat the traffic" were the encouraging words expressed by my ever faithful coworkers. Thanks guys, it worked just swell. Two hours to Bellevue, BAM! Another hour and half to the "U", 15 miles, what a blast. A real bladder tester. Oh, the weather! A fire hose doesn't come close to spewing the amount of water that was falling from the sky for the last 75 miles of the trip.
I did finally make it up to see MaryEleanor for a brief, but gratifying visit. She looked radiant, as always. Reports throughout the week were all very positive. For all you faithful bloggers, I will make an effort to post a couple of times throughout the weekend.
Man, how I love being in Madison Park, thank you again Jackie and Andy!

Hey ME..we have been thinking so much about the upcoming inauguration and how, if it wasn't for you, we never would have enjoyed the experience of a lifetime when we saw Bill Clinton riding down Pennsylvania Avenue..we are definitely planning on going again for the first time since then and we need your input!! where to sit, what to bring, how to stay warm..we will miss you and DaveBoy so much but thank you for getting it together for all of us those many years ago..we have never forgotten such a cool experience! love the daily blogs and sounds like you are doing great with your new "Car"..you need a stick shift on that thing and make sure you rev it up before you turn the corner!
