Wow, you lucky loyal readers,a midweek post!
ME had another great day today. She continues to improve her physical strength. I have resigned myself to the fact that our bedroom is ME's "gym". Her therapists use our bed for new exercises on a firm surface. ME's caregivers try their best to put things back in order but it reminds me of the old story of the three bears.
Today was conference call day with ME's team of therapists. Her attending physician, Dr Mullin, from Yakima Regional joined us on the call. He last saw MaryEleanor on the 13th of January. Based on what he heard us all share on the call, ME's plan of care, next steps, may change. All of the therapists who work with MaryEleanor reported significant improvements in all areas.
As I was working with ME this evening, something happened that made me laugh. The laugh was genuine enough where ME joined in. A loud laugh that we have not shared in over six months! Everyone who knows ME knows her laugh. It's cool that it's back.
