WooHoo!

Another milestone today but first......

MaryEleanor and I busted some butt Sunday morning. We planned, packed, ate, showered and dressed and were on the road a little after 9A! I even allowed a little extra time for ME to apply makeup and put on a little bling bling. Off we went.

Two and half hours later we pulled up to her Mom's complex and proceeded to unload enough stuff to last a week! It was just great! Just about every relative was there. They all came not only to help celebrate Ellie's 85th, but to spend time with ME. Most all had not seen her since we left the U in December. Allot of emotions flowed through the room over the course of four hours. I finally pulled the plug a little after 4P and we headed back to Yakivegas, with an extra person in the car. Caitlin is spending a few days with us.

Caitlin wasted no time today figuring out a way to get everything ME needs through her mouth. It will take some work but the goal is to get the feed tube out, sooner than later. Yeah!

Today we all went to see ME's ENT physician. With little fanfare and within 10 minutes, ME's trache is now history! It will take a bit of time for the things to heal but!, it's gone! ME is no longer a member of the bow tie club.

We are no longer taking baby steps!

We've been waiting for this day! Yahoo!!!!Sorry we missed you at the club this weekend, but we had company and didn't get up until Sunday. I'll be out this week for sure, probably Wednesday, but I'll call first. Hugs, Nan & Tony
