We're Home

I'm happy to say that we have made our return home today at about 3pm from the hospital and it was quite successful! We developed a system for managing pain, and there just wasn't much holding us back after that! Our plan is to continue our normal routine at home and start with therapy next week. We hope to have the cast off in 6-8 weeks and then we'll start scheduling the same procedure for the other leg (Left leg). I've added a picture of a "before" and after. You can see the left leg which is plantar-flexed/inverted (ballerina foot in people speak) compared with the "after" of the right leg at 90degrees in the cast.

We're so happy to all be home again and back into our routine!
